Moto X4 Detailed Specifications – Review, Camera, Battery:- Motorola is a well known Smartphone brand which has introduced budget phones in the market. It has attained the success even before Lenovo come into the market. The z-series and g-series of the Smartphone have given popularity to this company. The Moto X came as a huge success. This year, the company has again launched the Smartphone of X-series names as Moto X4. It seems that this Smartphone will do great business due to its features and reasonable price.
The company has launched its Moto X4 model with 4 GB last year and now it has related the model with 6GB RAM. The latest model is a bit expensive than the older Moto X4. Apart from RAM, The latest Android Oreo is added to the device. The Motorola is known for its stock android Smartphone and addition of extra space in RAM will surely enhance the performance of the device.
Moto X4 do not follow the 18:9 aspect of the display but still 5.2 inch LTPS LCD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution is working perfectly. The small size assures the one-handed use easy because the phone perfectly fits into the palms. The thick metal frame gives perfect gripping and on the other hand, the back is made up of glass which is slightly slippery in hands. This Smartphone possesses various features which are given below:
The Smartphone comes with sleek attractive design and looks glossy. In terms of water resistance, it is rated IP68 which means this phone can survive under the 3 feet deep water for up to 30 minutes. But the glossiness of the phone results in fingerprint and smudges. The screen is delicate and can get scratches easily even without falling on the floor. Buttons on the right and sim tray on the top are the same old things in this Smartphone.
The camera quality is not so impressive despite having a dual rear camera of 12 MP each. The main camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and the secondary camera have a f/2.2 aperture. 16 MP front Camera adds some effect in the picture quality but still, it is not up to the mark. You can click photographs as well as record video decently at daylight. But it is worst during low light. It doesn’t have a quality which other company’s flagship phones are providing. If we look at the camera then Moto X4 fails to make an impact.
The new Moto X 4 has 6GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage. It runs on Snapdragon 630. Also, you can select the 3GB RAM with 32 GB storage and also 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage. The difference is not only in their storage but also their prices are different. The low priced handset comes with 32 GB storage which can be extended using microSD.
In terms of software, the specifications of latest and old versions of Moto X4 are different. The older version runs on Android 7 whereas the new version consists of Android Oreo. The multitasking is not a difficult thing with Moto X4 and the apps load quickly without any trouble. Also, it is perfect for playing games and watching videos.
The battery life of this Smartphone has improved from the previous version but it needs more work to be done. 3000mAh Li-Ion battery is quite good for the Moto phones. Although we have seen other company’s Smartphone having more battery life. It also supports fast charging which is a great demand for Smartphone.
